TVCA works with healthcare colleagues, charities, and other organisations to provide public health advice about the risks and symptoms of cancer. Our campaigns also encourage people to take action to get an early diagnosis.
It’s all about building healthy communities, promoting screening services, encouraging informed choice, and creating access to services, testing, and care.
To do this, we support some international and national campaigns to create awareness about cancers and developments in diagnoses and treatments. We also produce our own information which may be specific to the people and communities of the Thames Valley.

This will include details of how TVCA is turning the cancer objectives of the NHS Long Term Plan into information and action that means something to the people in our local communities.
