The Psychological Care group provides important leadership and guidance on the place of psychological support at different levels of need, for cancer and palliative care patients. The group also provides advice and guidance regarding the education and supervision requirements of staff working with cancer and palliative patients and their families.

The group leads are Dr Anna Lagerdahl, Consultant Clinical Pyschologist and Lead Cancer Psychologist, Great Western Hospital, and Dr Lucy Grant, Lead psychologist for the Berkshire Cancer Centre, Royal Berkshire Hospital, and Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Berkshire Healthcare.
