The Cancer Allies Programme supports local projects and events that help reduce health inequalities and improve understanding of cancer signs and symptoms. If your organisation wants to make a difference, follow the simple steps below to apply for funding.

Apply in 3 Simple Steps:

Step 1: Prepare Your Project
  1. Identify the need in your community
  2. Outline your activities (events, campaigns, outreach)
  3. Set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Agreed, Realistic, Time-bound)
Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Remember to include:

  • Your organisation or group name & project title
  • Project lead & contact details
  • Project description (what, why, how)
  • Desired outcomes & impact
  • Metrics for success
  • Stakeholders involved

Step 3: Submit & Approval Timeline

Submit your application by emailing the completed form to: olukayode.fadina1@nhs.net or abimbola.odubayo@nhs.net

  • Initial review: Within 2 weeks
  • Feedback or clarification: If needed
  • Final approval: Usually within 4 weeks
  • Funding confirmation & and support materials: Sent immediately after approval
