Using evidence, insight and community intelligence to improve cancer outcomes and reduce inequalities across the Thames Valley. Data helps us understand where cancer inequalities exist and where action is needed.
We use national and local data to identify variation in referrals, diagnosis and outcomes across Thames Valley.
What we look at:
- Screening uptake and referral rates
- Stage at diagnosis across different groups
- Access to services and outcomes
- Trends over time
We combine this with community insight and professional experience to build a fuller picture.
Data doesn’t tell us everything, but it helps us focus effort where it will have the greatest impact.
