Central & South Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) works to ensure that all eligible patients across the Thames Valley can access and benefit from appropriate genomic tests.
Clinical genetics services are specialised medical services that focus on diagnosing genetic conditions and assessing the risk of inheriting or developing such conditions. These services typically involve genetic counselling and laboratory testing. General and cancer genetic clinics are held on a regular basis in Oxford Hospitals and hospitals throughout the region.
GMSA serve a broad geography, covering the The Thames Valley, West Midlands and Wessex and the goal is to support high-quality, personalised care that brings genomic medicine into everyday NHS care.
