Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA) will host its first ever Showcase for cancer colleagues on Tuesday 6 December 2022.
Healthcare professionals from cancer services across the Thames Valley[1] will meet to learn from colleagues, partners, and charities about latest developments in cancer care. Issues will range from genomics in cancer treatment, to improving health inequalities, pathology, and primary care approaches to identifying and diagnosing skin and colon cancers.

Cathy Wybrow, Managing Director of TVCA said:
“We are delighted so many of our colleagues can join us for our TVCA Showcase event. We understand the current pressures of all the teams and so have devised an event that we know will be a vital shared learning experience.
“We recognise that this may be the first time that many colleagues from across our Trusts/System have met for a while. The day will be as much about connecting and networking as it is about shared learning.
“Everyone involved in cancer services is working extremely hard to deliver the recovery programme following the pandemic and responding to the challenges of the NHS Long Term Plan. The TVCA Showcase is designed to share knowledge as part of this massive effort.”
