The aim of the Quality Improvement Scheme (QIS) is to improve uptake for the bowel, breast, and cervical cancers screening programmes. This is achieved through various quality improvement activities in GP Practices, e.g. promotional material or contacting people who did not attend their original appointment.

This project is overseen by Thames Valley Cancer Alliance but implemented locally by each Thames Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
