Cancer Pathways
Best Practice Timed Pathways (BPTPs) set out the expected diagnostic steps and time frames for patients referred with suspected cancer. They support delivery of the Faster Diagnosis Standard by ensuring a consistent, timely approach to diagnosis across tumour types.
Across Thames Valley, we are implementing these pathways to improve diagnostic efficiency, reduce variation, and support earlier diagnosis.
