An award-recognised opportunity to build your cancer care expertise

A university-accredited cancer education programme delivered by Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has been recognised as a finalist in the Student Nursing Times Awards 2026 for Outstanding Postgraduate Course Provider of the Year.

The recognition reflects the continued success of the Care of the Patient with Cancer module, which has received excellent feedback from previous learners and supports the development of the cancer workforce across the region.

Applications are now open for the September 2026 cohort.

Designed for nurses and allied health professionals (AHPs), the university-accredited module combines face-to-face and virtual learning, delivered by experienced cancer specialists from across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The programme is mapped to the ACCEND (Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development) framework, supporting enhanced, advanced, consultant and medical workforce practice while helping healthcare professionals develop the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality cancer care.

The next cohort begins on 21 September 2026.
