Community Cancer Awareness Van to visit Thames Valley in September

Thames Valley Cancer Alliance will soon be taking a new Bowel Cancer Awareness Van into communities across Thames Valley and Swindon to help raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms, encourage bowel cancer screening and support earlier diagnosis.

The mobile resource will provide trusted information about bowel cancer, the importance of recognising symptoms and the benefits of taking part in screening when invited. By bringing information directly into local communities, the campaign aims to make it easier for people to learn more about bowel cancer and where to find further support.
