Thames Valley Cancer Alliance was established to bring together cancer leaders, commissioners, service providers, people affected by cancer and third party stakeholders to take a whole pathway, whole population approach to delivering transformational change in cancer services across its defined geography.
Cancer Alliances provide clinical, operational and transformational leadership to local cancer systems by bringing together their constituent commissioners and providers, on behalf of their STPs/ICSs, to ensure system-wide oversight.
