New podcast explores cervical cancer prevention

The first episode in the new series of NHS England’s Transforming Primary Care podcast focuses on cervical cancer prevention.

Chaired by GP Dr Paula Cowan, NHS England’s National Specialty Advisor for Gynaecology, the episode brings together health professionals from across the North East and Yorkshire to discuss work to prevent cervical cancer and improve cervical screening.

The panel explores current developments and approaches taking place across the region and beyond, and how this work supports wider national ambitions to improve cancer prevention and women’s health.
