Funding opportunity: accelerated cancer diagnosis
Innovate UK has launched a funding competition to support the development and evaluation of innovative technologies that could help accelerate cancer diagnosis.
Up to £25.4 million is available for collaborative projects focused on the clinical validation and evaluation of technologies for earlier cancer diagnosis. Proposals addressing less common cancers are particularly encouraged.
NHS organisations can lead applications as part of an eligible collaboration, which must include a UK-registered small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).
Applications close at 11am on 28 October 2026.
