How to apply for Cancer Allies Funding
Do you have a great idea to raise cancer awareness in your community? The Cancer Allies Programme supports local projects and events that help reduce health inequalities and improve understanding of cancer signs and symptoms. If your organisation wants to make a difference, follow the simple steps below to apply for funding.

Apply in 3 Simple Steps:
Step 1: Prepare Your Project
- Identify the need in your community
- Outline your activities (events, campaigns, outreach)
- Set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Agreed, Realistic, Time-bound)
Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Remember to include:
- Your organisation or group name & project title
- Project lead & contact details
- Project description (what, why, how)
- Desired outcomes & impact
- Metrics for success
- Stakeholders involved
Step 3: Submit & Approval Timeline
Submit your application by emailing the completed form to: olukayode.fadina1@nhs.net or abimbola.odubayo@nhs.net
- Initial review: Within 2 weeks
- Feedback or clarification: If needed
- Final approval: Usually within 4 weeks
- Funding confirmation & and support materials: Sent immediately after approval
