Cancer awareness campaigns
Encouraging people to seek help early is a key part of diagnosing cancer sooner. We are working to improve public awareness of cancer risks, signs and symptoms through targeted campaigns, helping people feel confident to come forward and access support when they need it.
We work closely with local communities and partners to ensure our campaigns reach those most at risk of late diagnosis, including under served groups who may face barriers to accessing care. See materials and campaigns calendar here: Public engagement
Campaign resources and toolkits
The Thames Valley Cancer Alliance provides a range of campaign toolkits designed to support local awareness activity. These include practical resources, key messages and materials that can be adapted for use across different settings. You can view our campaign toolkits here: Primary and Community Care toolkits
Our toolkits are updated regularly to reflect new campaigns and priorities throughout the year, so please check back regularly to access the latest resources and guidance.
